    Hallo-Wine Party

    Thank you to my dear friends that came out last night to celebrate Hallo-Wine (a combo of many of my favorite things:  wine, halloween, candy, and my birthday---which hasn't quite arrived).  
    The festivities included:
    • An optional costume contest.  Martin won!  He was Melanie :D  It was a close call once Emily put her fake teeth in!
    • A blind wine tasting.   The winning wine:  Smoking Loon Cabernet Sauvignon 2009.  AND in a category all it's own a dessert wine loved by all was tasted:  Jackson-Triggs Vidal Icewine 2007. 
    • And homemade oreos made by me :D

    All in all, the party was a great success!  Yay for October and all it's many reasons to get together and celebrate.
